Victoria Poindexter is a Managing Director of Shattuck Hammond Partners and has eighteen years of experience in corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, and municipal finance. In 1998 she relocated from New York to open the firm's Chicago office and expand Shattuck Hammond's operations in the Central United States. With a primary focus on the acute and managed care sectors, Ms. Poindexter has provided a broad spectrum of capital markets, real estate, strategic and financial advisory services to providers and payors nationwide. Recently, she assisted Alegent Health, Baptist Health South Florida, The Health Alliance of Greater Cincinnati, Integris Health, Lifespan, PPOM and Rockford Health System in the structuring, implementation and/or financing of strategic initiatives.

Prior to joining Shattuck Hammond Partners, Ms. Poindexter was a Vice President in the Health Care Group at PaineWebber Incorporated, where she provided investment banking and advisory services to independent hospitals and healthcare systems, teaching hospitals and long-term care facilities. She also led the Health Care Group's mergers and acquisitions practice, providing advisory services to both not-for-profit and for-profit healthcare clients. Ms. Poindexter began her investment banking career in PaineWebber's Corporate Mergers and Acquisitions Group, where she participated in advisory engagements for biotechnology, publishing and transportation companies.

Ms. Poindexter earned her B.S. and M.B.A. degrees from the Stern School of Business of New York University.
