Stephen G. Blumenreich

Stephen Blumenreich is a Managing Director in our New York office and has focused on advising small and mid-cap growth companies for over 15 years.   Mr. Blumenreich focuses on the medical device sector and has completed transactions in the aesthetics, cardiovascular, diabetes, diagnostics, general surgery, orthopedics, and spine subsectors.  He has completed over $10 billion of capital markets and M&A transactions including private placements, initial public offerings, registered directs, PIPES, follow-on offerings, convertible offerings, high yield offerings, leveraged buyouts and buy and sell-side M&A transactions. 

Mr. Blumenreich began his career as an M&A banker at Salomon Brothers before joining Alex. Brown & Sons in the Health Care Investment Banking Group.  After a brief stint at Robertson Stephens he rejoined Deutsche Bank to focus on advising Medical Device companies.  He left Deutsche Bank in 2005 to accept a position as Co-Head of the Medical Device Investment Banking Group at Thomas Weisel Partners where he helped build one of the leading Medical Device underwriters on Wall Street in 2006 and 2007.  Most recently, Mr. Blumenreich headed up the Medical Device Investment Banking team at The Stanford Group.

Mr. Blumenreich received his A.B. degree from Dartmouth College and his MBA from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
