P.J. Camp is a Managing Director in Shattuck Hammond Partners’ New York office.  In leading the firm’s real estate investment banking activities, his responsibilities include advising clients in executing real estate transactions – such as sale/leasebacks, developer selections, and single asset and portfolio dispositions – raising both debt and equity capital, and providing merger and acquisition services to companies in the real estate industry.  His professional experience spans over 19 years.

His clients include Rush-Copley Medical Center, Swedish Medical Center, OhioHealth, Community Retirement Living, and Southwest Washington Medical Center.  In addition to healthcare and seniors’ housing companies, Mr. Camp’s clients also include REITs, real estate developers and a broad range of companies that own and/or lease significant amounts of real estate.  Examples of these clients include Nationwide Health Properties, First Columbia, Health Care Property Investors, and Daimler Development.

Prior to joining Shattuck Hammond Partners LLC, Mr. Camp was a founding member of Ernst & Young Kenneth Leventhal’s National Real Estate Capital Markets Group, where he led the practice in the execution of healthcare real estate transactions throughout the country.  Prior to his seven years with Ernst & Young Kenneth Leventhal, Mr. Camp acquired development property as a member of the land acquisitions group of K. Hovnanian Companies, a publicly-traded real estate development company in New Jersey, Florida and California.  Earlier in his career, Mr. Camp practiced architecture with an east coast firm and is a licensed architect in the state of New York.

Mr. Camp received a Master of Business Administration degree from Columbia University Business School, and graduated as a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society.  He received Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Architecture degrees from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
