Mitch Kornblit is a Managing Director of Shattuck Hammond Partners and a member of the firm's Board of Directors. He has been an investment banker in the healthcare services sector for over 20 years. A specialist in service to managed care entities and provider-sponsored health maintenance organizations, in recent years he has worked with many of the largest and most influential healthcare companies in advisory, mergers and acquisitions and capital markets activities. He has supervised engagements for United Health Group, Oxford Health Plans and HealthNet, and he served as financial advisor to major academic medical institutions and healthcare systems including Vanderbilt University, Baylor Health Care System, George Washington University, Yale University, Advocate Heathcare Network, Presbyterian Healthcare Services and Geisinger Health System, with regard to their managed care affiliates. Mr. Kornblit had been a Managing Director of PricewaterhouseCoopers Securities LLC and was a Founding Partner of Shattuck Hammond Partners Inc.

Mr. Kornblit began his healthcare investment banking career at Salomon Brothers in 1983, and subsequently joined Mabon Nugent & Co. Prior to the founding of Shattuck Hammond Partners Inc., he was a Principal at Cain Brothers, Shattuck & Company. He was also an attorney at Cleary, Gottlieb, Steen & Hamilton, a major New York law firm.

Mr. Kornblit earned his B.A. and M.A. degrees at The Johns Hopkins University, and his J.D. from Columbia Law School. He was also an editor of the Columbia Law Review.
