| Biographies of Senior Professionals
Keith Grundy Keith Grundy is a Senior Vice President of Shattuck Hammond Partners in its San Francisco office. He rejoined the firm in 2006 after having served with Shattuck Hammond Partners from 1994-2001. Mr. Grundy has focused exclusively on healthcare and not-for-profit organizations for more than 25 years. He has provided a broad range of services to hospitals, health systems, physician groups and other healthcare organizations—debt financings, capital and credit strategy development, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic advisory services. Prior to rejoining Shattuck Hammond Partners, Mr. Grundy was Chief Financial Officer of Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital at Stanford from 2001-2006. At LPCH, Mr. Grundy directed all aspects of financial strategy and was a member of the executive team responsible for the organization’s overall strategy development. At LPCH he directed the withdrawal of LPCH from an existing obligated group and implemented a strategy to pursue LPCH’s first independent bond rating and issue $115 million in new debt. During his tenure, LPCH became achieved the highest operating margins of any children’s hospital in the U.S. and earned AA category ratings from Fitch, Moody’s and S&P. At with Shattuck Hammond Partners from 1993-2001, Mr. Grundy successfully completed more than 35 transactions for such clients as Childrens Hospital Los Angeles, Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System and John Muir Health. Mr. Grundy began his investment banking career with John Nuveen & Co. and Dean Witter Reynolds, where he served as Vice President. Previously, Mr. Grundy was a manager in Coopers & Lybrand's Health Care Consulting Group where his responsibilities included financial feasibility studies and debt capacity analysis. Mr. Grundy holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Stony Brook University and a Master of Health Administration from Duke University. He is also a Certified Public Accountant. |
