James Metcalf is a Vice President of Shattuck Hammond working in the New York office. He is responsible for providing transaction and analytical support to senior bankers on a variety of engagements including financings, strategic advisory, mergers and acquisitions, and real estate transactions. Mr. Metcalf has seven years of accounting experience in equity derivatives and municipal finance.
Prior to joining Shattuck Hammond, Mr. Metcalf was an Associate with Bank of America in the Equity Derivatives Department. As an internal finance associate, Mr. Metcalf worked on a variety accounting initiatives including work with Listed & OTC equity options and Primary & Secondary Convertible Bonds. Before joining Bank of America, Mr. Metcalf worked in internal finance, at J.P. Morgan & Co., in the Municipal Finance Division.
Mr. Metcalf earned his B.S. degree in Accounting-Business from Franklin & Marshall College and his M.B.A. from the NYU Stern School of Business.
