David Meagher

Dave Meagher is a Senior Vice President in the Nashville office, assisting in the firm’s investment banking activities for for-profit healthcare clients, including mergers and acquisitions advisory and capital markets access. Mr. Meagher’s healthcare investment banking and commercial banking career spans over eleven years.
Mr. Meagher has completed more than 50 transactions during his investment banking and commercial banking career across a variety of healthcare sub-sectors including medical devices, specialty pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, and healthcare services. Past clients include Abiomed, AngioDynamics, ATS Medical, CardioNet, Endologix, Genentech, Hollis-Eden Pharmaceuticals, Isolagen, Nucryst Pharmaceuticals, and XOMA Ltd.
Prior to joining Shattuck Hammond Partners in 2008, Mr. Meagher spent time with SunTrust Robinson Humphrey in Nashville. Prior to that, he worked in the Boston office of Cannacord Adams in their healthcare investment banking group and focused on Biomedical Device & Technology / Emerging Therapeutics, and spent seven years in FleetBoston’s National Biotechnology and Life Sciences Lending Group.
Mr. Meagher received his M.S. in Accountancy from the Kellstadt Graduate School of Business at DePaul University in 1996. He received his Bachelor of Arts in History from The College of the Holy Cross in 1993.
